Welcome to the first Selway Fisher Design Web Site. We are publishing on the Web largely because  a number of our boat builders have asked for us to go on  the Web so  that we can give information on  our most recent designs.

 Paul Fisher BSc. AMRINA with Selway Fisher Design has been designing small craft since 1974 and  now has over 250 designs ranging in length from 1,22 m to 18 meter and including:

THE BEAUMARIS 24

       The 3 main construction techniques used for these designs are:-

  • Stitch & Tape plywood using computer generated hull panel shapes.

  • Ply on frame (or combined with stitch & tape).

  • Cedar Strip Plank using computer generated and faired mould shapes.

Because of our YachtCAD system, we can change from one method to the other in a design  and    often can offer details for clinker ply construction for any of our designs too.
